Anna Barnett
Clays, Kilns and Glazes have been a large part of Anna's life for over 25 years.
Anna produces a range of pottery including Functional Ware, Raku 'Character' Teapots, as well as "Glaze-Art" creating abstract art with glaze.
Combinations of ceramic materials, fired to various temperatures results in intriguing coloured, textured surfaces...some resembling lichens, mosses, ice flows, and coral reefs, whilst others look volcanic.
Her work is constantly evolving, with Nature providing endless inspiration, especially for her more experimental pieces. She spends hours experimenting, and following up new test results.
